Negotiations between Trump and NATO on Middle East status!

NATO is a member of the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS.

The US-Iranian conflict that has erupted with Soleimani's death has created a tense atmosphere in the Middle East. Various opinions have emerged in the international community on both sides of the situation. Some have speculated that this would trigger World War III.

US President Donald Trump is currently in talks with NATO on the situation in the Middle East. These discussions were held with Jens Stoltenberg, the general secretary of NATO. Therefore, it is emphasized that NATO has to play a major role in this situation in the Middle East.

According to a statement issued by the American White House, it was discussed that NATO should intervene to maintain a peaceful atmosphere in the Middle East. Accordingly, NATO has agreed to work to curb international terrorism.

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) has stated that it has been instrumental in suppressing extremist groups including ISIS terrorism. They also recalled their contribution to military training in Iraq and Afghanistan. 

Accordingly, the two sides have discussed that NATO should intervene to ease the tense situation in the Middle East. NATO is a member of the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS. Earlier, President Trump had said he was in talks with NATO.

However, Sri Lanka could have a serious impact if the US-Iranian conflict which will also be taking place in the Indian Ocean. It is due to certain agreements between the two countries.
