Kala Pola 2020, Sri Lanka's largest art fair, will be held on February 23 Sunday at Ananda Kumaraswami Mawatha, Colombo 07. The event will be held from 8 am to 8 pm organized by George Kit Foundation sponsored by John Keels Group.

The event was first held in 1993 on a concept by George Kit Foundation with a participation of 30 artists, continuing for 25 years to this day as the island's largest art exhibition, contributing to the local network of artists and sculptors on a bigger gesture.

The event in 2019 was graced by around 31,000 observers with more than 350 artists. The event was a great platform for children's art wing over spacing for 235 little artists. This year it is also hoped that the island's biggest art event would be graced by artists and observers islandwide.

Applications called on digital platform, and so far over 370 applications have been received. The George Kit Foundation without limiting itself to a day for the exhibition of art operates a digital art gallery srilankanartgallery.com.
