Hamilton returns to her role as the legendary mother of resistance leader John Connor in the latest Paramount Pictures’ “Terminator: Dark Fate.” After playing Sarah Connor in James Cameron’s beloved 80s classic “The Terminator” and groundbreaking “T2: Judgment Day” in 1990, Hamilton became an action-movie icon.

Terminator: Dark Face would be a direct sequel to the second Terminator movie.
In response to query as to why she did not participate in the sequels following the second movie, Hamilton responded, “They’re very forgettable, aren’t they? You start something and you’re invested in the franchise, but somehow the characters that you care about weren’t there. Too many people, too many story points. So I think we’ve done a good job of narrowing down the focus again so it will echo the first two films.”
