SLPP stalwart parliamentarian Prasanna Ranaweera joining Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa in his official tour to India has had a social media storm over the week, and another interesting conversation is heard by the corner.
As Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa was preparing for his travel, MP Prasanna Ranaweera unexpectedly visited him to sign a letter on a matter relating to one of his friends. Seeing the MP, the Prime Minister asked him to join his tour to India. As Ranaweera's friend telephoned him and asked of the letter, he responded, "It would have to be done later. I just visited Boss, and he asked me to join with his tour to India. The letter will be discussed later, he said.."
Meanwhile, the photographs Ranaweera published on his social media took into very controversial topics on the internet. Many questioned as to why the Prime Minister joined him on his tour to India, for which Ranaweera responded with pride after the tour, "I did as he pleased, it is his duty treat me," sources revealed.
