Two of the best-known singers of Korean music, K-pop, have been convicted of rape and sentenced to life in prison.
The South Korean court sentenced Jung Joon-young and Choi Jong-hoon to six and five years respectively.
They were found guilty of rape of young girls who had drunken and unconscious mind.
Judging by Jung Joon-Young, the judge noted that these crimes were committed when women were drunk - that is, when they failed to resist. It is also reported that they have videoed these and released it to a chat group.
The judge stated that the victim had considered the victim a tool for pleasure.
While in prison, the two men were given 80-hour courses on sexual violence and banned from working with children.
Over the past few years, there have been many cases of sex crimes and sexual offenses for K-pop stars.
K-pop bands are extremely popular in Asia, including Sri Lanka.
