The World Health Organization (WHO) says it has identified more than 200 symptoms that could affect humans after they have been infected with Covid19. The organization says some of these symptoms are long-term. Symptoms such as shortness of breath, lack of memory, loss of concentration, and extreme fatigue may be common.
Participating in the World Health Organization's Science in 5 program, Dr. Janet Dias, Chief Clinical Manager of the World Health Organization, explained the symptoms of post-covid infection.
In addition, symptoms such as difficulty speaking, anxiety, depression, muscle aches, fever, loss of sense of smell, and loss of taste have been identified. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that most people who are cured of the Covid virus are more likely to develop these symptoms, lasting from three to nine months. However, it has not been confirmed whether the disease will be cured after 9 months.
She also points out that the treatment of such postoperative symptoms requires the assistance of a number of specialists from various stages, including rehabilitation professionals and psychologists.
