Pakistan government opens first round of commercial sales of Covid-19 vaccines

The Pakistan government has opened the first round of commercial sales of COVID-19 vaccines which began over the weekend.

The country is currently offering free vaccines to frontline workers and people above the age of 50, WION reported.

Accordingly, people have come to the private hospitals in Karachi city to collect the vaccines at their own expenses.

The Russia-made Sputnik V vaccine is being sold for 12,000 Pakistani Rupees (US$80), according WION.
