The Indian Medical Association has revealed that 269 doctors have died so far in the wake of the rapid spread of the second wave of covid 19 in India.

They say that on an average, between 20 and 25 doctors a day die from covid 19 in the current situation.

In the first wave, the country lost 756 doctors due to the covid 19 epidemic, many of them young people, the association said.

Doctors in the country are pointing out that the loss of a limited resource to doctors in a country where public health is in crisis is unbearable and unaffordable.

Accordingly, from March 2020 to date, 1025 doctors in India have been infected with the corona virus.

The Indian Medical Association says the data will be collected from all hospitals across the country and that on Sunday alone, 50 doctors were unfortunately snatched from the covid 9 virus.
