The Ministry of Health has taken steps to appoint Deputy Director - Generals of Health Services at the provincial level to coordinate the eradication of the covid epidemic. It is reported that the Minister of Health has observed the implementation of the covid control program at the provincial level and these appointments have been made with a view to further strengthening the program and providing the necessary facilities.

Meanwhile, it has been decided to set aside one ward in every hospital in the country for the treatment of covid patients.

Previously, with effect from January 1st, an Army Major was assigned to each district to carry out covid repression. He was assigned a number of responsibilities, including coordinating with institutions such as the Ministry, the Economic Revival and Poverty Alleviation Mission, the Ministry of Health, State Ministry of Disaster Management.

However, the covid epidemic is now on the rise and is moving beyond control.

Many parties continued to suggest to the government that health authorities should be given full responsibility for decision-making to control the epidemic.
