It is reported that a special discussion between the small parties affiliated to the SLPP government and the Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa is to be held on the day after tomorrow (11).

The leader of the Pure Hela Urumaya, Minister Udaya Gammanpila has told the media that the discussion will be held at Temple Trees tomorrow at 6.00 pm.

Wimal Weerawansa and other small party leaders did not attend the last two government party leaders' meetings, alleging that a large number of non-party leaders had been summoned to those meetings. About 50 people were present at the relevant meetings and Wimalla Gammanpilala has requested that only the leaders of the 16 parties representing the government should attend the party leadership meeting. Eleven of the 16 parties represent Wimalla's small party alliance.

As the request was not granted, the leaders of these small parties had decided to meet the Prime Minister separately.
