An Intermediate Treatment Center for Covid patients provided from the Navy

SL Navy has established a new Intermediate Treatment Center. The Intermediate Treatment Center at Boossa Naval Base consists of 12 wards and can accommodate up to 150 patients.

It is reported that a special treatment unit with 12 beds has also been set up.

A four-storey building constructed at Boossa Naval Base for the training of amateur sailors has been set up by the Navy as a Covid-19 Intermediate Treatment Center on national demand.

It is reported that staff including two Navy doctors have been deployed for the operation of this treatment center.

The Navy said that after completing all the work at the center yesterday (04), it will be possible to provide accommodation to the covid patients as soon as possible.
