Despite Public Security Minister Sarath Weerasekara's claims on Naufer Moulavi, who is currenty in prison, being the mastermind behind the Easter Sunday Genocide, Moulavi was but a screenwriter to the event, while the producers and the directors are still at large, Leader of Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) Rauf Hakeem stated joining the parliamentary debate on the Presidential Commission report on the Easter Sunday genocide on Wednesday (07).
"Minister Sarath Weerasekara goes on saying that Naufer Moulavi has already been identified as the mastermind. The mastermind has not yet been identified. This person could be the screenwriter. The lead actor could be Zahran. Sarah the lead acress is disappeared. Then the question would be who is the producer.
Zahran was an agent of the Israel Intelligence Service. I should be saying that it is suspicious whether the Israel Intelligence Service is behind this. Then our Intelligence Service questions this person called Abu Hind. Going further, it is questioned during the intelligence received from India whether this was learned via the telephone. Then it is responded, 'no it's a live source'. This means that these information were obtained from someone inside the squad. It is puzzling as to why we were unable to proble into these matters," Hakeem said.
He added: "Our Intelligence Units have petted some of the attackers. Ahmed Lebbe Mohammed Niyas, who had died in Sainthamaruthu. Who had given the weapons training - Hayad Mohammed Ahamadu Milhan. Who is now in custody. The CID only made this Ami Mohodeen its whistleblower, but did not arrest him. In the end, even Ami Mohodeen had involved in this. The Israel Intelligence Service and Abu Hind should be probed into now. Now it is said that the mastermind is revealed. But the producer and the director are still out there."
