Dr. Malinda Dissanayake, who served as a medical officer in the UK, has died due to multi-organ failure inspired by Covid-19, while having treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of North Middlesex Hospital, London, the very hospital where he worked.
51, Dr. Dissanayake's death was confirmed a short while ago.
His family members are currently in Sri Lanka and his wife left the UK about two days ago.
