Samabaragamuwa Governor Tikiri Kobbekaduwa has issued a gazette notification suspending the chairmen of the Balangoda and Embilipitiya Municipal Councils.
According to the gazette notification, the powers of the relevant councils have been transferred to their vice chairmen.
