The Elections Commission states that voters who mark their votes in the general election to be held on August 05 can use their own pen if they wish. The Election Commission said in a statement that the use of a blue or black ballpoint pen is permitted.

It is not mandatory to bring a pen to mark the polls, and a pen is kept at each polling station to disinfect the pen from time to time in the event of an epidemic.
