Global death toll due to COVID-19 surpasses 80k

The global death toll due to COVID-19 has reached up to 82,080 as of this (08) morning. 

The number of fatalities reported yesterday was 7380, counted to be the highest frequency reported within a day. 1970 deaths were reported from the United States and many fatalities followed in France (1417), United Kingdom (786), Spain (704), and Italy (604). 

Meanwhile, the number of patients tested positive for the virus globally has surpassed 1.4 million, with 302,150 recovered and 1,047,463 under treatment. 47,894 of them are in critical condition. 

Over 11 million of world population have been tested for coronavirus in the present and the highest number of positive cases is reported in the US, with over 2 million tested.
