The Dialog company has agreed to provide 10 million gigabytes free data for all internet consumers.
The decision was taken at the meeting held on Monday (06) in Temple Trees by presidential task force for Continuous Delivery, Operation, Coordination and Monitoring of Essential Public led by Mr. Basil Rajapaksa.
The offer has been informed by the chief executive officer of the Dialog company.
Accordingly, 1.4 million Dialog TV customers would be provided all channels free of charge, and 2.8 million of minimum balance consumers would be provided Rs.250 worth all tele medical services for free.
Widespread protest sparked in social media against the Dialogue company for its cut in Dialog's communications services driving the customers away from using it.
