United National Party leadership has taken a decisive decision to allow opposition leader Sajith Premadasa to carry out the up coming general election campaign and political activities of the party.

Meanwhile all UNP Electoral organisers have been summoned to a special meeting in Colombo chaired by opposition leader Sajith Premdasa at around 2.30 pm to discuss future actions of UNP and the existing internal problems of the party.
However UNP General Secretary Akila VIraj Kariyawasam said that UNP hierarchy has not been informed about this hurriedly arranged meeting.
