Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa was sworn in as Prime Minister before President Gotabaya Rajapaksa today (21). This would be the third time as the Premier of Sri Lanka in his political career.
The Cabinet comprised of fifteen ministries is due to be sworn in today, whilst the largest ministry is to be assigned to Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa, reports revealed.
The Prime Ministry accordingly would hold the subjects of Policy Planning, Economic Affairs, Urban Development and Environment, reports further revealed.
Meanwhile, Ministry of Foreign Affairs is to be given to Keheliya Rambukwella, Finance to Bandula Gunawardena and Agriculture and Electricity, Chamal Rajapaksa, according to reports.
