US military bases and marine aircraft carriers are at risk of Iranian missile strikes, a revolutionary security commander has said.
He made this statement a day after the Yemeni Iranian-backed Houthi group attacked two Saudi Aramco power plants.
According to his warning, all of these US military bases and aircraft carriers are located within a radius of 2,000 kilometers of Iran's missile launches.
Amirali Hajisadeh, the revolutionary security commander, said that Iran, which is “always ready” for military action, is not responsible for the destruction of American ships, aircraft and bases in the face of missile strikes.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo blamed the Iran for the Houthi drone attack on the Saudi Aramco oil power plant recently, saying that Iran had signaled an unprecedented attack on the oil industry, which is the heart of the world's energy supply.
