United States President Donald Trump on Wednesday (11) said the country has agreed to delay rising tariffs on $250 billion worth of Chinese imports from October 01 to October 15, as a result of "good will".

The tariffs were set to increase to 30% from 25% on the goods, foreign reports said.

Trump expressed the postponement came at the request of Liu He, Vice Premier of China, and due to the fact that the People's Republic of China will be celebrating their 70th Anniversary.
