The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) has decided to support the no-confidence motion tabled by the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) against the current government
According to MP Mahinda Amaraweera, this decision has been made by SLFP members after a discussion.
Vote for the no-confidence motion is scheduled to be commenced at 6 p.m. today (11).
The Joint Opposition (JO) and SLFP have already expressed support for this no-confidence motion. Therefore, Tamil National Alliance’s (TNA) decision would be crucial.
