Quran doesn’t teach to kill non-Muslims: Fazil Moulavi

Although some claim that the Quran advocates killing non-Muslims, it is utterly untrue, All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama (ACJU) Spokesperson Fazil Moulavi said.

The Quran contains 6,666 sentences, he said, adding that some have before the society misinterpreted 27 of those sentences.

Don’t study Islam through media, learn from Muslim scholars, he added.

He made this statement yesterday (17) in Kurunegala during a program on ethnic and religious coexistence.
