Following conclusion of the meeting convened by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa on the questionable 20th adaptation to Sri Lanka's Constitution on Monday (14) night, Justice Minister Mohammed Ali Sabry was seen leaving the premises without responding to queries raised by the reporters.
The Committee meeting was held in the residence of SLPP Chairman Prof. G.L. Peiris, and upon its conclusion Ministers Wimal Weerawansa and Udaya Gammanpila and MP Premanath C. Dolawatta had responded to media.
However, Sabry, as the person who had tabled the new constitutional adaptation to the Cabinet as the responsible body avoided media, got into his car and left.
Sabry on an earlier occasion told media that although he had tabled the 20th Amendment to Constitution, he had not drafted it.
