President Maithripala Sirisena in showing his true capacity as a powerful person is expected to make a number of radical decisions in the next two weeks, at a probability of putting several members of the two main parties in jail, political sources claimed.

Although no date has been set for the presidential election yet, the political arena is being heated up. This was very much apparent on the day the Nelum Kuluna Tower was opened given the President's speech.

If the Rajapaksas thought that the President dare not be touching them given the agreements made in October, 2018, Sirisena proved otherwise by striking the spine of Gotabaya Rajapaksa's presidential campaign. The President by exposing of the Rs. 200 crores scam has appointed the country to recall every time they eye upon the glowing Nelum Kuluna Tower of the crimes behind the beautification of Colombo city committed by the Rajapaksas.

This was only the beginning, according to sources.

We earlier revealed that there is a plan to arrest Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and Minister Ravi Karunanayake parallel to the bond scam. According to the latest developments, it is reported that some of the people of the SLPP may meet the same fate.

The President was in possession of all the relevant legal and evidence files waiting to be revealed at the right time, sources close to the President said.
